Justin and I both grew up in Loomis, CA, attended Del Oro High School, and both were hurdlers on the track & field team. Crazy I know. We were acquaintances in high school, Justin was two grades ahead of me, but we didn’t ever hang out or even talk on the phone. I may as well admit now that he was one of those older jock boys that my friends and I swooned over, never in my wildest dreams thinking I would ever date him. Fast forward a few years, I am working full time and Justin attends San Diego State University. I got a job at Abercrombie & Fitch for some extra money and Justin happened to work at Abercrombie down in San Diego. So, the manager at my store somehow got my number to Justin ( we hadn’t even talked since my dorky braces and frizzy hair stage) and he swears he called me and left a message. I have no recollection of this. He says I didn’t call him back on purpose, I think not. So I guess it wasn’t the right time in life for us to reunite.
Now it is 2005 and Justin and I magically run into each other one night out with our friends. It’s love at first site, how romantic, I know. He has a few months left of school and then is moving back to Loomis. We talk almost everyday and I can’t get over the fact that Justin, the hottie from high school, is interested in me… geesh am I lucky. From that time on, we have been together, rather inseparable, for almost 4 years. And on May 2nd we will be married!!
